Yep, This Is Real

After a long hiatus, the website you know and love is finally back

I can explain, I’ve been busy, please forgive me. Its been a year since my last update and probably six months since the whole website has been down, but we’re here and its now. I made it up to you though, didn’t I? What with this beautiful new design. I’ve slaved myself over the past month working on this and its finally here. Yes, after countless trips to Burger King and glasses of Mountain Dew, the website you all know and love is finally here and its better than ever. Nikovision has come a long way. Lets go over some of these new features, shall we?

The Blog

Well, there is a lot going on here now. I’ve switched over to Expression Engine from that old terrible AJ-Fork, but that’s boring. You don’t care about that. This blog will hopefully become a frequently updated feature on the site with all sorts of commentary so be sure to tune in, I promise plenty of lols. And of course you’ve noticed that after every entry is some nice sharing buttons so telling you cool friends about this wonderful place has never been easier. Just click one of the links, you’ll probably hit the Facebook one, and share away!

To the right of the blog there’s also a nice Latest Video shelf letting you know what the last updated video is, nice and convenient right? Under that is a frequently updated photo roll that is pulling photos from my Flickr account. This, I believe, will be a big improvement from that pitiful photo section on the old site, you know the one with a bunch of Zack’s photos of benches and knives. Yeah, that one. So be sure to check that out for your latest pinup photos of Stuart. And right under that is a handy little search bar, so if you ever need to quickly find something you read, there ya go.

Cinema

The Cinema, or Videos page in a more blunt vernacular, has gotten bit of a face lift. Of course I kept all those oldies in there so don’t worry, you can still watch Tree Hugger all you want. I’ve made a new Flash video player that will hopefully mend any Quicktime woes people have had in the past. That’s right, you don’t have to download Quicktime anymore to watch my videos! Another little thing about the Flash player I’m sure you’ll enjoy is that it can play the videos in full screen. I know, you’re probably super excited right now. But wait there’s more!

The Goods

Here’s something that has changed from the old site. Remember the goods on the old site? Probably not because there were none. This time I’ve thrown in a store and I know, there’s nothing in it right now, but don’t worry, there will be, I promise! I’ll keep you updated on when you can get yourself a genuine weener boy shirt.

Just kidding, there won’t be any weener boy shirts… or will there?
